Getting started with Hers is straightforward, making it one less laborious task on your to-do list.
- The Online Intake – This is where you get started. Clicking the “Begin Free Consult” button takes you directly to the free online assessment. The assessment consists of a straightforward medical questionnaire about your experiences.
- Provider Evaluation – A licensed medical provider trained in women’s health reviews your intake assessment and determines if and what medication you may need. Next is a consultation via asynchronous messaging, video call, or phone call, depending on the state you reside in.
- Getting Your Personalized Treatment Plan – If you are eligible, you’ll receive a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. This includes prescriptions for medications that your provider recommends for your specific symptoms.
- Receiving Your Treatment – Should you decide to go ahead with the treatment plan, one of the pharmacies working with Hers will deliver your medications directly to your door. The great thing about Hers is that all products are packaged discreetly, safeguarding your privacy. Medication deliveries are included in your subscription, giving you one less errand to run.
- Ongoing Support – The Hers App gives you access to ongoing support by providing ongoing, unlimited provider messaging, regular check-ins, and treatment adjustments should you need them.
Treatment Customization
One of the key focuses at Hers is treatment customization. Perimenopause and menopause are usually diagnosed by age and the symptoms you experience. Licensed providers at Hers trained in women’s health will typically assess your hormone levels and needs based on your intake assessment.
However, if your assessment results are unclear or your provider wants to rule out other potential causes for your symptoms, they may prescribe lab testing.
Depending on your personalized treatment plan, your provider may prescribe one or several of the following medications:
- Estradiol Cream
- Estradiol Pill or Patch
- Progesterone Pill
Regular check-ins with your provider through the Hers app allow them to monitor your experiences and adjust your doses as needed.
Additional Services
Hers isn’t limited to hormone enrichment. The platform provides comprehensive women’s health services. These include support for weight loss, hair loss, mental health, and skincare, which are assessed and treated with personalized plans. Other tools include calculators for BMI, protein, calorie deficit, and water intake.
Perimenopause and menopause education is also covered. This feature is particularly helpful, since women are often left to navigate symptoms, like mood changes, sleep problems, and dry skin and hair, on their own. A conditions guide and the menopause education hub give you direct access to everything you need to know.
Ease of Use
Hers offers an efficient way to address symptoms and experiences you may have, providing straightforward solutions that don’t add to your to-do list. Through a clear, user-friendly process, Hers makes it simple and affordable to get ahead of symptoms and soothe existing ones.
Post-treatment Support
Hers provides ongoing support, available online or via the Hers app. This support includes unlimited access to provider messaging, with regular check-ins, treatment monitoring, and adjustments as needed.
